Weekend House - Crans
An enchanting project in the heart of the Swiss Alps. A weekend house in Crans-Montana owned by a famous female racing driver. It revisits the traditional, warm and cozy mountain architecture. Local materials, such as stone and raw larch, coexist with contemporary solutions: large interior spaces, panoramic windows, accurately designed furniture.
The appropriate angle of the renders was chosen so as to show foreshortened views and constructive design features, such as load-bearing pillars made of raw larch, the wooden loft, the open fireplace. Looking through the large windows you see the stunning scenery of the canton of Valais, while the warm sunlight floods through the glass and gleams on the floor.
We also realized a night-time architectural visualization to highlight the light design and to emphasize the warm heart of the house, as opposed to the exterior cold light at twilight.
