Hotel La Grazia - Venice
Client: Arch. Gastini
The unique scenery of the Venice lagoon saw our client deal with the renewal project for the artificial island Santa Maria della Grazia, where lies the former hospital which is to be converted into luxury accommodation facilities. The commissioned renders were aimed to present the architectural restoration of the existing historic buildings and how they integrate with the spaces to be built. Particular attention was paid not only to photorealistic rendering, but also to the authentic Venetian ambience in every image.
So as to fulfil the task, Diego Varan Render office rebuilt the whole island through 3D modelling, reproducing every detail of the historic buildings, starting from the photographic survey of the present state, coming to adding the elements to be built. Renders simulate natural daylight and grazing warm sunlight.
So as to represent the project in this particular context, the background is composed of aerial photographs softened by light mist. Whereas night-time renders are dominated by cold shades of blue, while the lights of the prestige architectural complex are mirrored in the emerald lagoon.
